Steven Dennis, assistant professor of theatre and director of the Summer Theatre Institute, introduced Father Bartunek and asked questions throughout the presentation. The program was part of the week-long celebration of Heritage Week, hosted by the Salesian Center for Faith & Culture at DeSales. Father Thomas F. Dailey, OSFS, professor of theology and director of the Salesian Center, stated that Gibson's successful film represents one of the best examples of using modern media to forward a religious message.
