Article by Mariella Savidge focuses on the concept of videotaped college tours that allow you to view schools from the comfort of your home. The videos are produced by Cliff Kramon, of Tenafly, N.J., who admits they are not fancy. Pete Rautzhan, dean of enrollment management at DeSales, is quoted in the story as saying that although most colleges like the exposure, he has some concerns. Although Kramon's list does reduce costs for those people who can't travel, it targets Ivy League schools and other selective institutions.
