The Division of Business and the Division of Science and Health Care designed an interdisciplinary undergraduate degree in Pharmaceutical Marketing (PK). Students will become proficient in both marketing and science enabling them to work in the fast-growing pharmaceutical industry after graduation. Graduates may later pursue studies for the MBA or a doctoral degree.
The PK major offers students an opportunity to explore a career in the fields of research and development, sales and marketing, education of health professionals, pharmacy academic programs, or with the federal government.
Since the pharmaceutical industry is very competitive, students should start as early as possible to plan an internship and gain valuable experience. Information for a PK internship with a local pharmaceutical company is available by visiting the Career Placement Office. Consult with your business advisor to help you plan an internship.

Dual Majors
Our business curriculum is designed to accommodate those students who opt to major in two different areas of business. Most Business major core courses are completed in the student's Freshman and Sophomore years. Courses specific to their dual degrees can then be completed during the Junior and Senior years - allowing students to complete two degrees in the traditional four year period.
For further information about Pharmaceutical Marketing electives or core business courses, please refer to the Graduation Requirement link for Pharmaceutical Marketing, or contact Dr. Christopher R. Cocozza, Division Head, Division of Business by email. |
