Article by Jodi Duckett, (with photo) on ACT 1 production of "The Crucible," with Zachary Robidas, '06, and Colleen Gallagher, '06, as John and Elizabeth Proctor, praises their strong performances as a complicated yet loving couple. The classic story by Arthur Miller on paranoia, oppression and redemption takes place during the time of Salem Witch Trials in 17th century Massachusetts. Duckett credits Amy E. Lobmeyer, costume designer and assistant professor for the performing and fine arts at DeSales, and John Woodey, lighting designer and facilities coordinator at DeSales, for the "period-perfect" work and setting the right mood.
