Article by Tami A. Quigley (with photo) on the debut of "Connemara Mass," by Dr. Dennis Varley, associate professor of humanities at DeSales, scheduled for May 4 in Connelly Chapel at DeSales. The work is a musical setting of the Mass in Irish (Gaelic) and English. It is composed for choir, harp, strings, fiddle, uilleann pipes and piano. Among DeSales faculty members participating in the program are: Dr. Brennan Pursell and Dr. Kenneth Nivison, assistant professors of humanities, and Dr. Gregory Kerr, associate professor of philosophy and theology.
