Article by Kathy Lauer-Williams (with photos) features DeSales University graduate Matt Naughton, '05, of Bethlehem, on his feature comedy film, "In Convenience." The film won the award for best comedy at the New York International Independent Film Festival in November. Classmates of Naughton's, Silvia Nagy and Joshua Lausch, helped on the project. The film, shot at a convenience store in Reading in October 2004, had a $500,000 budget financed by credit cards and loans from the students' families. ITN Distributors of New York have offered to market the film and will offer it at the Cannes film market in May. The Cannes market is a companion to the international film festival.
