Andrew Roman, director of the Center for Professional Development at DeSales, provides comments. According to Roman, the response to the program has been strong and future sections are being planned. Pedro Juan Medina-Martinez serves as instructor and 15 health care professionals are enrolled in the pilot program. The course, Spanish for Health Care Providers, costs $950 and qualifies nurses for non-credit continuing education contact hours through the Pennsylvania State Nurse's Association.
