Bucks author weaves magical Celtic tales form myth and history

Story by Gina Conti profiles Juilene Osborne-McKnight, a faculty member at DeSales, who teaches Celtic and Native American-themed courses and writing, who has been reading from her latest work in appearances around the area. McKnight's four novels are based on the four cycles of Irish storytelling, and begin with St. Patrick and the arrival of Christianity in the 5th Century A.D. ("I Am of Irelaunde") and work backward in time to the arrival of the Spanish Celts in the 5th Century B.C. ("Song of Ireland"). When asked which character of all the ones in her work is most like her, she answered that "they're all you."
