Frank Whelan's Whelan on the Scene includes announcement of the summer gala planned by the Shakespeare Festival at DeSales University. The event, to be held on Saturday, June 24, will begin with cocktails and dinner, followed by the performance of "As You Like It." The evening also will include a tribute to Lee Butz, one of the Lehigh Valley's leading businessmen. Champagne and dessert will be served in the lobby of Lubuda Center, following the performance. Actors include Greg Wood, Christopher Patrick Mullen, Lauren Lovett. Richard Treyz is directing. It is sponsored by Breslin Ridyard Fadero Architects and co-sponsored by Lutron Electronics Co., Inc.
