Story by Ted Strong (with photos) highlights DeSales University's spring 2006 commencement on Saturday, May 20. Father Bernard O'Connor, OSFS, president of DeSales, conferred degrees upon 396 graduates, including 338 bachelor's degrees and 58 master's degrees. Honorary doctor of humane letters degrees were awarded to commencement speaker Christopher West, faculty member of the Theology of the Body Institute, and to John A. Leone, owner, chief executive and chairman of Bonney Forge Corp. An honorary doctor of science degree was awarded to Harry O. Warren, distinguished retired DeSales faculty member.
