DeSales University has both web-based video conferencing via Elluminate Live! and traditional video conferencing facilities at each of our campuses. Elluminate Live! is a completely web-based teaching, learning, and collaboration environment that allows for:
- hosting worldwide meetings, work sessions, orientations, and presentations
- recordings of sessions for later playback
- transmitting of audio, video, computer desktop applications, and web pages
- quizzing, polling, break-out rooms, and whiteboard interactions
Before using Elluminate, please go to the first time users Support Page to make sure that your system and browser are properly configured. Also, be sure to have a headset with microphone to speak and hear and a web camera to transmit your image. If you encounter any issues with Elluminate, call its free 24/7 Technical Support phone number at 866.388.8674 and choose option #2 or click here to troubleshoot using their online support portal. The Participant Quick Reference Guide may also be of some help if you are new to Elluminate.
(Elluminate recordings are available until the start of the next semester. If you need access to your recordings beyond this date, please make a new request to extend the time. Otherwise, older recordings will be deleted.) |
