In story by Myra Yellin Outwater, arts writer, she discusses "Sleuth," the Anthony Shaffer play, with its director Jim Helsinger and the two leads, Carl Wallnau and Bradford Cover. Wallnau, who plays an uppercrust English mystery writer, describes "Sleuth" as a compendium of all English murder mysteries and geared to English detective fiction fans. Set in the 1970s, the story revolves around the struggle between the mystery writer and his wayward wife's lower-class lover.
Positive reviews by Outwater appeared in the Morning Call on Tuesday, June 20. Also reviewed positively by Howard Shapiro in the Philadelphia Inquirer on Monday, June 19.
