Story by Keith Groller profiles Tony Medina, a DeSales alumnus, currently head coach and athletic director at Faith Christian Academy in Orlando, Fla. According to Groller, Medina admits he's a different person from the tough guy who played basketball at DeSales from 1991 to 1995 and at Whitehall High School from 1989 to 1991. He now has dedicated his life to working with children. The Academy, which is an educational ministry of Faith Assembly of God Church, has 620 students from kindergarten through 12th grade, including 150 at the high school. Medina hopes to coach on the college level one day, so that he can implement things he was taught throughout his scholastic career. After graduating from DeSales, Medina worked for Kids Peace for five years, before moving to Orlando.
