IT 502 Discrete Structures (3 credits)

Concepts of discrete mathematics and algorithmic design, and analysis of algorithms. Basic data structures. Introduction to graph theory. Problem solving may include the use of a high level programming language (C, C++, or Java) environment.

Prerequisite: IT 507 or equivalent.
