The Morning Call, Thursday, August 24, 2006
Article by Myra Yelling Outwater, arts writer for The Morning Call, announcing that WillPower, the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival's school outreach program, will tour area high schools for the seventh season, includes comments by Patrick Mulcahy, producing artistic director of PSF. "Bringing Shakespeare to middle- and high-school students in a way that they will find not only entertaining but arresting and engaging, is another one of our challenges," said Mulcahy. "And our student surveys tell us that we are successful." WillPower, established in 2000, is supported by a National Endowment of the Arts grant. Last year, more than 7,000 high school students in more than 29 schools attended.
