The Office of Social Outreach provides volunteer service opportunities for all members of the University community. We work to create and foster a vibrant commitment to community service through meaningful outreach activities. A variety of opportunities are available for individuals and groups to put their faith into action. The programs promote genuine human interaction between the members of the University community and our neighbors in the Lehigh Valley and beyond.

The volunteer list for Social Outreach activities has recently passed the 300 person mark. Students have shown an extraordinary desire to help the less fortunate cope with life's struggles. as the new director of Social Outreach I hope this outpouring of support by the students opens the minds and hearts of the faculty and administration as well. Come by and learn more about us. Come by and make a difference in the world.

Dinner hours spend cooking and serving less fortunate
The Victory House shelters men of all ages trying to get back on their feet again. Every other Wednesday evening from 5:00pm - 7:30pm DeSales University students travel to Bethlehem to prepare and serve dinner to the men living at Victory House. Most importantly, students take the time to share a meal and hold a conversation with individuals who most appreciate these efforts. |
