Story by Josh Drobnyk (with photos) provides account of student discussion session and public lecture with Richard Armitage, the former Deputy Secretary of State, and guest speaker for the 23rd annual Rev. Thomas J. Furphy Lecture. During the student session with more than 20 students from various majors, Armitage answered questions on a variety of issues such as pursuing negotiations with North Korea, accidentally revealing the identity of ex-CIA agent Valerie Plame, a statement by Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf on CBS's "60 Minutes" about an inflammatory remark Armitage allegedly made to a top Pakistani military official, the war in Iraq, and the affect of public life on his family.
