Story by Jim McCurdy highlights the event held in DeSales' Billera Hall to promote the sport of bicycling, honor the 2006 U.S. Cycling Hall of Fame inductees and promote a Lehigh Valley cycling museum. The event featured Greg LeMond, the world-famous bicyclist and first American to win the Tour de France. LeMond and others would like to see the sport commemorated in the Lehigh Valley. The International Cycling Center hopes to bring the Hall of Fame to the area, with the help of sponsors and raised awareness.
