Story by Pete Nevins on Alyssa Antolick, All-American, All-District and All-Conference player at DeSales, now a graduate student at East Stroudsburg University, who has joined the ESU basketball team, includes comments from DeSales coach Fred Richter. Antolick was going to be the graduate assistant coach at ESU, but decided to play instead. The decision that she had a year left to play came after a talk with assistant coach Diane Decker and then with head coach Julienne Simpson. Antolick said that she loved playing at DeSales and had high praise for Coach Richter. "Alyssa is very flexible," said Richter. "She has the range and skills to play anywhere outside and she also can defend inside." Antolick is from the Lehigh Valley and attended Bethlehem Catholic High School where she scored more than 1,000 points.
