The Campbell Memorial Lectureship is an annual event sponsored by the LCCC and hosted by DeSales, in memory of the late Robert K. Campbell, a former chief executive officer of the Pennsylvania Power and Light Company. Campbell actively encouraged Christian unity and was instrumental in community efforts through which the religious community of the Lehigh Valley could put their energies and motivation to work in serving the needs of the less fortunate and underprivileged. To honor Campbell, the Committee on Ecumenism of the LCCC established an annual lectureship focusing specifically on Christian unity.
The LCCC is an association of over 140 churches and faith organizations working collectively with over 800 volunteers meeting the human and spiritual needs of the community. Since 1954, the LCCC has sponsored programs that have made a difference in the lives of thousands of people.
For more information on the lecture, including registration fee and cost of the two lectures and dinner, please contact the Rev. Debra Hepburn, LCCC Executive Directory, at (484) 664-7320 or visit lccc@lccconfchurch.org.
