Segment on TV-2 News showcases DeSales students, as they combined science with colorful visuals, popular music, and comic relief in a public program on March 14, 2007. As part of the Sixth Annual DeSales University Chemistry Demonstrations Program, 11 students entertained and also stimulated learning, as they conducted more than a dozen experiments.
Established in 2001, the demonstrations program is designed to educate elementary and secondary school students on the basics of chemistry in a fun atmosphere. Dr. Rodger Berg, who serves as coordinator of the chemistry program, stressed that DeSales students participate in the program "for the love of science." |
