Gehringer received the 2007 Professional Staff Employee of the Year award. Seibert received the 2007 Support Staff Employee of the Year award. The awards are given to members of the university who have distinguished themselves through service to the school.
A graduate of DeSales University, Gehringer also holds an MBA from Wilkes University. As senior accountant at DeSales, Gehringer assists in the maintenance of the university's financial records. Gehringer is a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Parish, Bally, where she serves as a sacristan. She is also a member of The Steel Blades, an adult synchronized skating team in Bethlehem. "Working at DeSales University is a privilege," said Seibert, who also believes in the value of Catholic education. "The religious environment, with its established Mission as the nucleus, provides the foundation for unity and cooperation, as does the Catholic Church."
Seibert and his wife, Donna, have resided in Bethlehem for over 38 years. Seibert is the parent of nine children, 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. During his off time, he enjoys woodworking, digital photography and tinkering with electronics.
