DeSales University's dual enrollment program gives high school students the opportunity to take college-level courses online at a reduced tuition rate. Students in this program can potentially earn college credits while conveniently taking courses that may not be offered at their high school.

Please note: These courses are offered to eligible high school students on a space-available basis. As a result, we cannot guarantee that each dual enrollment course will have sufficient space for all high school applicants.
What courses are available?
The courses that are offered vary from one year to the next. However, you may click here to check out the most recent list of course offerings. We will update the list of courses each April to reflect our offerings in the following academic year. Complete course descriptions may be found in the most recent Undergraduate Catalog.
Will these courses transfer to other institutions?
DeSales University will accept all credits received by students through our dual enrollment program. Although we cannot guarantee that all other institutions will accept credits obtained through this program, we are confident that our courses will be transferable to most institutions.
How do I apply?
Before you can enroll, DeSales University must verify that you meet the minimum requirements described above. Furthermore, we must have:
- A completed online application.
- A High School transcript.
- SAT, PSAT, or ACT scores.
- A letter from your guidance counselor confirming your eligibility or, if homeschooled, a letter from an accredited program evaluator.
These items must be received at least one full week before the class's start date. However, applications will be processed in the order that they are received. Consequently, in the event that spaces begin to fill, preference will be given to applications received first.

To remain eligible while participating in this program, you:
- Must maintain a secondary school grade point average of 70 (or the equivalent) in the subject area of study.
- Must maintain a 2.0 Cumulative GPA in dual enrollment courses.
- May not enroll in more than 24 postsecondary credits through dual enrollment per academic year.
In addition, students should note that successful completion of a course means that the student has earned a minimum grade of "C."
What is the cost?
DeSales University will charge $216 per credit to high school students during 2011-2012. Since most courses bear three-credits, students typically pay $648 per three-credit course. In addition, there may be fees for textbooks, the cost of which will vary from one course to the next.
