Everything that you discuss during your counseling sessions is confidential and cannot be disclosed to anyone (even your parents/guardians) without your written consent. However, ethical and legal codes require that confidentiality MUST be broken in cases where a student is or has been an imminent danger to self or others (including child abuse).
