Professor of Theology
Dr. Kane joined the faculty of DeSales University in 1992. He holds a doctoral degree from Marquette University, with a specialization in Theological Ethics.
He currently serves as head of the Division of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, as well as the Director of International Learning.
His major book publication is Just War and the Common Good: Jus ad Bellum Principles in Twentieth Century Papal Thought (International Scholars Publications, 1997). He has also had scholarly articles published in New Blackfriars.
Dr. Kane frequently gives presentations on ethical issues to various groups throughout the USA. He also publishes commentaries on a national basis through the Catholic News Service.
Dr. Kane has served on the institutional review board and the institutional ethics board for the Lehigh Valley Hospital & Health Network.
