Associate Professor of Philosophy
Dr. Kerr joined the faculty of DeSales University in 1992 and was promoted to the rank of Associate Professor in 2000. He holds a doctoral degree from Fordham University.
His scholarly work in philosophy has been published as chapters in four books from the Catholic University of America Press, including The Common Things: Essays on Thomism and Education and Beauty, Art, and the Polis. He has also published in the Fellowship of Catholic Scholars Quarterly.
Dr. Kerr has served the professional world of philosophy as an editor for the American Maritain Association and on the editorial board of Vera Lux, the International Natural Law Journal. He has also given presentations at conferences of the American Philosophy Association and the American Catholic Philosophical Association.
At DSU, he is credited with securing the Walter Kerr Theatre Collection housed in the Trexler Library.
