A degree in International Business provides business students with exposure to diverse people around the world by offering a basis for globalization, entrepreneurship and innovation opportunities. Through Christian Humanist education, students will explore the cultural and political differences across the globe. This major equips students with skills needed to meet the challenges of their profession, and it also prepares them for graduate study in business and/or management.
International business students have a deep interest in international issues and a goal for a career with extensive opportunities for both international travel and residences. They like a small, student-oriented university with a faculty that wants them to succeed. Students also have a strong desire to learn foreign languages; and those with a second native language such as Spanish, will have an attractive career with scholarship options.
Our graduates can work for companies, not-for-profit organizations, and the diplomatic corps of the U.S. government. They use the experiences they gain from our internship program, an international tour option, and international business consulting projects for regional businesses.
Attend the Export University Program in Fall 2011 and learn how to expand your international business. Our business curriculum is designed to accommodate those students who opt to major in two different areas of business. Most Business major core courses are completed in the student's Freshman and Sophomore years. Courses specific to their dual degrees can then be completed during the Junior and Senior years - allowing students to complete two degrees in the traditional four year period.
