Is multi-tasking multiple projects with multiple priorities taking its toll? Perhaps the one-hour memory workshop, "Where Did I Leave my Keys?," in the Trexler Library at DeSales University at noon on Wednesday, Decembers 3, will help put things in perspective. The program is open to the public free of charge, but registration is required. Please call the Trexler Library at (610) 282-1100, ext. 1346, by Wednesday, November 26, to reserve a space and materials.
The memory workshop is sponsored by the Trexler Library, as part of the Brown Bag Lunch Series. It is designed to enhance current and future memory in the workplace and in daily life. Participants will learn techniques to improve memory and receive multiple memory tips. The session will be presented by Bernie Schwartz, a social worker and geriatric specialist for psychotherapy and crisis intervention.
Schwartz earned a B.A. in psychology from Northeastern Illinois University and an M.S.W. from San Jose State University School of Social Work. She provides individual, couple and family therapy to adults and older adults in her practice, Muhlenberg Behavioral Health / The Guidance Program, located in Bethlehem. Previously, she served as director of the English Speakers' Memory Club in Melabev, Jerusalem. Prior to that, she was a geriatric specialist for older adult programs in Boca Raton, Florida, where she also provided individual, couple and family therapy to adults and older adults.
For more information or to reserve a space, please call the Trexler Library at DeSales University at (610) 282-1100, ext. 1346.
