Teresa Coleman '82 Joins DeSales University Board of Trustees; New Board Members also Include John F. Malloy, Laura Ann Worosz Malnight '90, and Rev. Alan D. Zobler, OSFS

Teresa Coleman, a director in finance at Deutsche Bank, has been named to the DeSales University Board of Trustees. Her appointment to the three-year term, effective September 2008, was announced by Rev. Bernard O'Connor OSFS, president of DeSales, at the fall meeting of the board. Coleman is one of four new board members.

In addition to Coleman, other new board members as of the 2008 - 2009 academic year include: John F. Malloy, chairman, president and chief executive officer, Victaulic, Easton, Pa.; Laura Ann Worosz Malnight, '90, of Wayland, Mass.; and Rev. Alan D. Zobler, OSFS, theology instructor, St. Francis de Sales High School, Toledo, Ohio.

Currently, Coleman is a director at Deutsche Bank in its Wilmington, Del., and New York offices. She manages teams of finance professionals in both offices, and specializes in bank reporting, regulatory controls, and consolidation.

Previously, Coleman worked at J.P. Morgan Chase & Co in Newark, Del., as a controller and manager. She also worked at Citigroup in New Castle, Del., and at Deloitte Touche and Ernst & Young in Allentown, Pa. Earlier in her career, she worked in the treasurer's office at DeSales University, for Blue Cross & Blue Shield of the Lehigh Valley, and the U.S. Army CECOM, Monmouth, N.J.

An alumna of DeSales University, Coleman earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from DeSales in 1982. She was a certified public accountant by the state of Pennsylvania and completed MBA courses at Wilkes University.

Active with various community programs, Coleman is a member of the Delaware Community Investment Corporation Board, St. Ann's Parish Finance Council (Wilmington), and Women on Wall Street, a Deutsche Bank sponsored organization. She also has served as a volunteer for the DeSales University Annual Fund Corporate Sponsor Team, Delaware Bankers Teach Children to Save, Business in Education Alliances / CHOICES, Junior Achievement, and Helping One Student to Succeed mentor program. She served in the past at her parish and parish school as a Youth Athletic Association Treasurer and Home & School Association President, and has volunteered at both Padua Academy and Salesianum High School, both in Wilmington, Del.

Coleman resides in New Castle, Del., with her husband of 27 years, Bill. The Colemans met while attending Nativity BVM High School in Pottsville, Pa. They are the parents of three children, Rachel, 22, a recent graduate of DeSales, Rebekah, 19, and William, 16.

Terry Coleman is the daughter of Ellen Nevada of Minersville, Pa., and the daughter-in-law of Margaret Coleman of New Philadelphia, Pa.
