Center Valley, Pa. (March 27, 2009) -- The DeSales University Chapter of the Student Nurses' Association of Pennsylvania (SNAP) is sponsoring the 2nd Annual Southeast PA Regional Student Nurses' Challenge from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., today (Friday, March 27) in the DeSales University Center. This fun and challenging event for students has proven to be a great opportunity for them to prepare for NCLEX, theNnational RN Licensing Examination.
Seven nursing education programs are participating in the competition. They include: Abington Memorial Hospital Dixon School of Nursing, Alvernia College, Bucks County Community College, Cedar Crest College, DeSales University, Lehigh Carbon Community College, Moravian College and St. Luke's School of Nursing. Each team will consist of six students.
The winner of the event receives a trophy sponsored by the Pennsylvania League for Nursing and a $500 endowment for their Student Nurses Association fund.
