Earning a bachelor's degree is not a goal for all students. Completing a prescribed set of courses to acquire knowledge or update existing skills may be enough to gain new employment, earn a promotion, or satisfy a desire for personal growth.
The ACCESS program of DeSales University has developed a series of certificates, each comprised of six to twelve courses offering a coherent program centered on one of a number of areas with real world relevance.
Certificates also offer a good option for individuals already possessing a degree or those wanting to ease into earning a degree by first completing a briefer, more focused program of study.
Interest in earning a certificate? You are encouraged to schedule a meeting with an ACCESS Academic Advisor, who will assist in planning your program and in completing the application process.
For the 2011 / 2012 academic year, the tuition rate for ACCESS courses is $402 per credit hour. The cost per textbook can vary between $10 and $260, depending on the course. Students have the option to purchase textbooks that are new or used, rent, and purchase access to e-books.
