Your resume and cover letter are strategic tools that are critically important to your job search. Attend this workshop to learn proper cover letter and resume formatting and writing tips. This is an instructional workshop, but you are encouraged to bring along a draft of your resume and cover letter if you have them.
While a resume cannot guarantee to get you a job, it certainly can help open doors and create an interest in you. Employers receive hundreds of resumes daily. It's essential to make sure that your resume attracts positive attention and best states your experience, knowledge, and skills within the first few seconds. This workshop will help you to make sure your resume is top-notch. We will assist you in developing a resume from the start - or enhancing the one you currently have.
An effective cover letter is another tool that can help advance your resume for consideration. We will help you develop an effective cover letter.
The second part of this workshop provides helpful tips for interviewing. Now that you know how to make your competencies shine on your resume and cover letter, we'll give you successful tips and strategies to help you in the interviewing process.
