Full-Time Status vs. Part-Time Status

Bookmark and Share

Full-Time Status

A student taking at least four courses of three or more credits (12 or more credit hours total) in any particular semester is considered to be a full-time student.

Part-Time Status

A student carrying less than four courses of three or more credits each (i.e., less than twelve credit hours total) during a semester is considered a part-time student.  Most financial aid awards are based on full-time enrollment. Part-time status may reduce your financial aid package. Financial aid is also based on normal academic progress.
