The Department of Humanities offers a B.A. in Liberal Studies. Liberal Studies is an interdisciplinary, self-designed, humanities-based major intentionally structured to cross traditional discipline boundaries in order to address the student's specific academic and vocational needs by individualizing his or her course of study. The Liberal Studies major asks that each student meet the general core requirements of the University and beyond that essentially "customizes" a student's education, ensuring rigorous standards within a carefully constructed yet flexible framework.
