CR 502 Quantitative Methods for Business

(This course can be taken as an alternative for CR 508 - Business Computing)
Development of an understanding of and the capability to apply basic quantitative techniques commonly used in business analysis and decision-making. Both the power and limitations of such analytical tools and techniques will be examined, along with an appreciation of the conditions under which the use of such quantitative approaches is most appropriate. The perspective of the manager/user will be stressed. Computer software is normally employed.
